winter

it's the middle of winter, which means that in the fashion world, our brains should be fully committed to the upcoming spring/summer collection. i've allowed myself to wait until the new year to jump on that bandwagon...
in the meantime, i want to revel in this amazing (relatively mild) winter that we're having. i want to focus on how amazing fibres, such as melton wool, can keep you warm even in the most bitter cold; and how leather can block the fiercest winds.
oh, textiles. you have my heart.

photoshoots, like the one i've shared little peeks from (below), are the reason i love winter fashion.

these were from photoshoot for an upcoming feature in a lovely little (local!) magazine. these shots were taken by me, but i can hardly wait until i can share with you the REAL photos, taken by a REAL (and lovely, and fun to work with) photographer!

ps: ask lauren (the gorgeous model) about the wind-breaking attributes of heavy leather. she'll vouch.
