let's talk shop: what inspires you to be creative?

of course, you've got the usual... british vogue, hobo magazine, beautiful films, teen vogue (guilty pleasure), people watching, etc.

here's what puts my pencil to paper, and my needle to fabric:
my life.
the people, the simplicity, the happiness, the disappointments, the passion, the laughs, the moments of empowerment, the moments of needing to get through something horrible. i love making clothing that real people can wear through these real experiences. i want to make clothing that carries you (and makes you look and feel super awesome, while doing it).
